Georgetown has picked up a commitment from the number 58 2020 prospect Dylan Hess, midfielder,  out of Ponte Verda (FL). Hess was previously committed to Navy, but decommitted a few weeks ago. Hess is the 5th 4-star in the 2020 class to Commit to Georgetown.

The Ponte Verda (FL)/SweetLax-FL 2020 midfielder is a "Swiss Knife" type of player. He can make things happen and does a lot of different things. He is a great dodger and can do some damage up top. Hess is also a guy that can be used on the defensive side of the ball as well as the offensive side. When he gets his hands free he is also a threat to shoot and put the ball in the back of net.

Georgetown's 2020 recruiting class is ranked 12th in the country and headlined by five 4-star commits, inchuding Hess. The other four 4-star commits include Nobel & Greenough (MA) faceoff man John Dixon, St. John's (DC) attackman TJ Haley, St. Mary's Annapolis (MD) defenseman Will Tominovich, and Benilde-St. Margaret's (MN) defenseman Seamus Foley. Loyola Blakefield (MD) midfielder Chase Llewellyn is also committed to Georgetown in the 2020 class.
