There goes another one for Syracuse as Poway (CA) midfielder Marquez White, the number 52 junior in the country, has flipped his commitment from Syracuse to Princeton. Marquez is the 5th recruit to flip from Syracuse in nearly two months. Another notable recruit to flip from Syracuse as of recent was Josh Zawada, number 37 2019 prospect, who has since signed with Michigan.

The 4-star midfielder out of Poway (CA)/3d-2020 is a quick dodger that can really disrupt a defense. He can make magic happen when he is able to dodge from up top, beat his man, and get his hands free. White can go to work on the wings and inside as well. He has a crafty stick as he throws crisp passes and is a good finisher. He can also do some damage at the defensive midfielder as well.

White joins a 2020 recruiting class at Princeton that is currently ranked 11th in the country. With White flipping from Syracuse, Princeton now has six 4-stars committed in the 2020 class. Park City (UT) LSM Andrew Pederson, Culver (IN) goalie Mike Gianforcaro, Westfield (NJ) defenseman Colin Freer, Hun School (NJ) midfielder Grant Hasen, and Brunswick School (CT) faceoff man Koby Ginder are the other 4-stars currently committed to Princeton in the 2020 class. Kent Denver (CO) LSM Pace Billings is also a 2020 Princeton commit.
