2019 Schedule Preview: Virginia

The Virginia Cavaliers are the 32nd DI team and the 1st ACC team t announce their 2019 season schedule. The Cavaliers come into the 2019 season after going 12-6 overall and 1-3 in the ACC last season. Virginia would make the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2015 as they lost to Loyola in the first round. Virginia comes into the 2019 season looking to get back to the NCAA tournament and go further. If they stay healthy this year a Championship weekend could be in the works for the Cavaliers. 

Virginia will open the 2019 season on the road against Loyola on February 9th. Their first home game will be against Lehigh on February 16th. It will be the first matchup between Virginia and Lehigh since 1906. That's the first meeting in 103 years! Virginia head coach Lars Tiffiany will face his old school and alma mater Brown for the first time since he arrived in Charlottesville after the 2016 season.
