Sanna Joins Hartford Staff as an Assistant, Hofstra Names McIntee as Volunteer Assistant

There have been two more assistant coaching moves this week as Hartford has hired alum Kevin Sanna as an assistant and Hofstra announced Tim McIntee has joined their coaching staff as a volunteer assistant. 

Kevin Sanna joins the Hartford Hawks coaching staff for the 2018-19 season. Sanna is a 2017 graduate of Hartford. Sanna was a four year starter for the Hawks from 2014-2017. Sanna was part of that Hartford team that won their second ever America East championship in 2016. The Hawks also made their second ever NCAA championship appearance during 2016 as well. Sanna has coached with Blaze Lacrosse which is a club program in his hometown of Rochester,NY. 

Hofstra has added Tim McIntee as a volunteer assistant for this upcoming 2019 season. McIntee comes to Hofstra after being the associate head coach and defensive coordinator at Mount St. Mary's. McIntee got his start in college coaching at St. John's in 1992 where he was an assistant. McIntee was the head coach at Manhattan from 1997-2012 and then an assisatnt at Dartmouth from 2012-2014. McIntee played at LIU-Post and played professionally in the MILL, now the NLL, for seven seasons with the New York Saints.
