As first reported by Chris Jastrzembski last weekend, the Colonials have hired former Hofstra volunteer assistant Brandon Mangan as an assistant coach for the 2018-19 season. This hire comes after Tim Cox left to take an assistant coaching job on Liam Gleason's inaugural staff at Siena.

Mangan comes to Robert Morris from Hofstra where he was a volunteer assistant for two seasons. While at Hofstra Mangan helped the Pride to an 11-3 season in 2017 and coached three All-Americans during his time in Hempstead.

As a player Mangan was a standout at Yale where he graduated in 2014. A five-year MLL veteran Mangan has played for the New York Lizards and won a MLL championship with the Ohio Machine in 2017. Most recently Mangan played with the Chesapeake Bayhawks during the 2018 season.
