The Ohio Machine have traded attackman Nate Lewnes to the Dallas Rattlers in exchange for a conditional draft pick. This was the second move made by Dallas on Friday as they also made a trade with Boston in which they got a draft pick for Sean O'Brein.

The 2016 UMBC grad, Lewnes, was drafted by Chesapeake in the 2017 supplemental draft. Lewnes would play four games for Chesapeake in 2017 and six games with them this past season in 2018. Atlanta would pick up Lewnes off of the Chesapeake practice squad and then Ohio picked him up off the Atlanta practice squad. He never played a game for Atlanta or Ohio.

Over the course of his career Lewnes has played in a total of 10 games and has 19 goals as well as 3 assist. Lewnes should be able to contribute in Dallas even with that loaded attack line they already have.
