Week eight is the final week of the regular season in the CUFLA. After this week we will finally see where teams fall in the playoffs that will start next week.

The week got started off on Wednesday night when Brock defeated McMaster by a score of 11-5. The outcome was no surprise, but there were some great players on both sides of the ball. For McMaster they had two guys find the back of the net twice in Andrew McKiel and Mitchell Pellarin. For Brock Grayson Houghton had 3 points (2G,1A) and Neil Davis had 3 points (1G,2A) in the win. Brock would use a big third quarter in which they had five goals to stretch their 4-1 halftime lead and secure the victory. Both teams have just one game left in the regular season.

One of the biggest games of the week is in the east as McGill travels to Peterborough for a big game against Trent. This will be their second meeting of the season and if it's anything like last game then fans are in for a real treat on Sunday. Last time these two met McGill won by a score of 16-14. There was a ton of scoring and the game was decided down the stretch.
