On Thursday we would see a multitude of MLL signings as three teams signed at least one player. The Ohio Machine signed Shawn Evans and the New York Lizards would re-sign Kevin McNally. In addition the Chesapeake Bayhawks would sign Ryan Tucker and Jack Doyle.

Shawn Evans has signed a two-year contract deal through 2020. Evans has been a star in the NLL but just played his first MLL season in 2017 after being drafted in the supplemental draft by the Chesapeake Bayhawks. Evans had 9 goals, 5 assist, and 8 ground balls in 2017 with Chesapeake. Last season he played just three games with the Denver Outlaws and was picked up late in the year by Ohio.  In the indoor game Evans has dominated as he won the NLL MVP award in 2012 and most recently won the Mann Cup this summer with the Peterborough Lakers of the MSL.

The former Albany great dane, Kevin McNally has re-signed with the New York Lizards. This signing comes after his rookie year in the league where he did see some decent playing time. During 2018 McNally appeared in 8 games as he had 13 ground balls and 1 caused turnover.

Ryan Tucker has signed a three-year contract extension with the Chesapeake Bayhawks after his second season with the franchise. Tucker was traded to Chesapeake from Atlanta during the 2017 offseason. Last season in 2018 Tucker played in 13 games as he put up 16 goals, 3 2-pointers, and dished out 2 assist.

Doyle was picked up by Chesapeake before the 2018 season from the player pool. Due to an injury suffered in the preseason he was sidelined for the entire 2018 season. Doyle played at Harvard and then Notre Dame as a fifth year senior. He is also a coach at a local high school in Maryland, Severn High School.
