Ohio Re-signs Randall, Uppgren Returning to Boston

The Ohio Machine have re-signed defenseman Ben Randall after his rookie year in the league where he spent half of the season with Ohio. Also the Boston Cannons announced that they had re-signed John Uppgren to a two-year contract deal.

Ben Randall signing a three-year deal with Ohio comes after his rookie year in the league. During his rookie season Randall as traded from Charlotte, who drafted him, to Ohio on June 19th. The Ohio native and Ohio State grad fit right in at home with the Machine once he got there. During his rookie campaign Randall would lead the league in caused turnovers with 19. He also scooped up 31 ground balls to add to his stats.

The Boston Cannons have re-signed John Uppgren to a two-year contract deal. The attackman was drafted by Boston in 2016 where he played in two games during his rookie season. Atlanta would pick up Uppgren off the Boston Cannons practice squad in 2017 after playing 5 games for Cannons. Uppgrean played in three games for Atlanta last season in 2018 as he had four goals before being placed on the Atlanta practice squad. Boston picked him back up from Atlanta practice squad on August 1st.
