Male High School has hired former Rutgers midfielder Chad Toliver as their next head boy's lacrosse coach. This hiring comes after former Male head coach Joseph Palazzo stepped down over the summer after a 2018 season in which the Bulldogs went 10-9. 2018 was Palazzo's third year at the helm of the Bulldogs.

Chad Toliver will take over as the new head coach for the Male Bulldogs for the 2019 season. Toliver recently graduated from Rutgers where he played for four years. During his four years as a player at Rutgers the program took huge strides and has become one of the premiere programs in the country. Toliver is a native of Atlanta,GA where he played at Milton HS for his senior season after three years at McCallie in TN.

This is a fantastic hire as he is a young guy that can relate to the kids and he has a lot of high level experience. With all that combined he should be able to help Male's program grow as well as develop the talented players and athletes they have. It will be interesting to see how well Toliver does in his first year and in the future with the Bulldogs. According to a source the school will officially announce the hiring on Monday.
