On Monday the Madison Mavericks announced that former Bryan Station head coach Tim Jones had joined their coaching staff for the upcoming 2019 season. Jones will serve as the defensive coordinator and goalies coach for the Mavericks.

Tim Jones comes to Madison after two years as the head coach at Bryan Station where he led the team to a 9-6 record last season. Jones has also coached at Lafayette high school where he led the Generals from 2011-2016. Prior to coming to Lexington, Kentucky Jones played at DII power Le Moyne college in Syracuse,NY.

With Jones leaving Bryan Station to join the coaching staff at Madison Station that leaves a head coaching position open at Bryan Station. The coaching search is just getting underway as nothing has been announced yet. The Defenders need to get an experienced head coach that can keep the upward progression of this program.
