Hutchinson Hired at Notre Dame, Grossi to Towson, More Volunteers

The assistant coach carousel continues as Notre Dame has hired Neil Hutchinson as their new offensive coordinator and Towson has brought on Steve Grossi as the Tigers defensive coordinator. Princeton and Penn have added volunteer assistants in Tucker Mizhir and Rob Forester. After these hires there still assistant coach openings at Robert Morris, Mount St. Mary's, Binghamton, Cleveland State, and Richmond. 

Neil Hutchinson comes to Notre Dame after being the offensive coordinator at UMBC for two seasons under head coach Richie Moran. Prior to his coaching stint at UMBC Hutchinson was a volunteer assistant at Towson where he played a graduated in 2014. 

Steve Grossi will take over as the defensive coordinator at Towson after spending two seasons at Richmond. Grossi coached the defense and faceoff unit at Richmond. Prior to his time at Richmond Grossi was an assistant at Princeton, St. Joseph's. Grossi got his coaching start at DIII Hampden-Sydney. Grossi played at Drexel where he graduated in 2009. 

Tucker Mizhir has joined the Princeton coaching staff as a volunteer assistant after spending four years as an assistant at Culver Military Academy HS in Culver, IN. At Culver he helped establish what is now one of the premiere high school lacrosse programs in the country. 

Penn has hired former Academy of the New Church HS (PA) head coach Rob Forster as a volunteer assistant. Forster spent five seasons as the head coach at Academy of the New Church (PA) after bing the offensive coordinator at La Salle College HS (PA) for two seasons.
