CUFLA Week 3 Preview: One Game Down, Championship Rematch

This week we saw the first midweek regular season game of the 2018 season. Ottawa traveled to McGill on Thursday night as McGill defeated Ottawa by a score of 17-8. Some other news from this week is that Queen's will play two exhibition games in the United States on Sunday.

Friday starts the weekend slate as there are plenty of great games going on this weekend. This week in all will total eight games in which we should (and have) see some fantastic play. A few headlines coming into this weekend obviously include the undefeated teams in McGill, Brock, Western, and Toronto. Also Toronto is just coming off a bye week so it should be interesting to see if they have stayed in form. Another storyline is whether Carleton or McMaster can get their first win of the season here in week three. The biggest game however is definitely the championship rematch from 2017 as Western travels to take on Brock. No matter what it should be another great weekend of lacrosse action and we should see some big performances similar to last week.
