On Monday we saw more MLL signings as Chesapeake announced that they had signed five defensemen in Kyle Tucker, Ryan Hursey, CJ Costabile, Chris Fennell, and Sean Mayle. The Dallas Rattler announced one signing as Connor Gately has re-signed after his second year in the league.

The Bayhawks re-signed LSM's CJ Costabile and Sean Mayle to two-year contract deals. Costabile was drafted by the Bayhawks in 2012 before being traded to New York where he spent two seasons. Costabile was acquired by the Bayhawks in 2014 and then again in 2016 after Atlanta drafted him in the supplemental draft. Last season Costabile had 4 goals, two 2-pointers, 13 assist, 218 ground balls, and 18 caused turnovers.

Mayle was drafted by the Bayhawks in the 2018 MLL draft. The rookie out of Denver was able to put up 3 goals, one 2-pointer, 10 ground balls, and 1 caused turnover during his rookie season in Chesapeake.

Defensemen Chris Fennell and Kyle Tucker have signed two-year deals with Chesapeake while Ryan Hursey has signed a one-year deal. Fennell was drafted by the Bayhawks in 2017 and then picked up last season after being picked by the Denver Outlaws in the 2018 supplemental draft. Fennell would only play three games in Denver. During the 2018 season Fennell only played in two games with Chesapeake as he had 5 ground balls.

Hursey and Tucker have yet to see any playing time in the MLL. Hursey was an All-American at Georgetown as was Tucker at DIII Salisbury.

Dallas has signed Connor Gatley to a contract extension after his third year in the league. Gatley was drafted in the 2016 MLL draft but did not see any time on the field with the Rattlers until 2017. Gatley broke out during the 2018 season until an injury would sideline him for the rest of the season.
