The Buffalo Bandits and New England Blackwolves announced a trade on Wednesday night that would send Ryan Fournier to New England in exchange for Matt Spanger.

Ryan Fournier will be heading to New England as a result of this trade they made with Buffalo. Fournier was drafted last year by Vancouver where he would start his career and play five games for them. During those five short games with Vancouver the defensemen racked up 14 lose balls and caused 2 turnovers. Fournier also had 5 points (2G,3A) while in Vancouver. After being released by Vancouver Fournier would be picked up by Buffalo where he appeared in just one game last season. During that game against Saskatchewan on March 16th Fournier scooped up 4 loose balls.

Defensemen Matt Spanger will be heading to Buffalo after playing his first two seasons in the league with New England. In both 2017 and 2018 Spanger appeared in 9 games for New England. Last season Spanger had his best year in the league, thus far. With 7 caused turnovers and 30 loose balls to his name Spanger also added 5 points (1G,4A).
