MLL Announces Season Award Finalist

The MLL has announced the finalist for their end of season awards. These awards will be presented at the second annual awards ceremony in Charleston, SC. The event will be held on August 17th at 6:30PM at the historic Charleston Theatre. The ceremony will be broadcast on Lax Sports Network.

Cascade Rookie of the Year:

David Huntley Man of the Year Award:

This is a new award that the MLL will also be presenting during the ceremony in Charleston. This award is made in memory of former MLL coach and one of the greatest influencers in lacrosse Dave Huntley who passed away last December. The award will be presented to the lacrosse athlete who has demonstrated, "Sportsmanship and professionalism that are beyond reproach” and who “Makes selfless, meaningful contributions to Major League Lacrosse, the game of lacrosse and to his community.” The nine nominees for the award will be released Wednesday, Aug. 8th.
