Boston Cannon's veteran captains Max Seibald and Mitch Belisle have announced that they will retire upon the conclusion of the 2018 MLL season. The Cannons are out of the playoff race as their last game will be on Saturday at home against the Ohio Machine.

Max Seibald - Seibald was drafted #2 overall by the Denver Outlaws in the 2009 MLL draft. During his ten year career Seibald played for Denver, Boston, and New York. Seibald will be remembered as a Boston Cannon to most fans as that his where he spent most of his playing days. He has racked up 225 points, 199 ground balls, and has 33 2-point goals which puts him at 3rd all time.

Mitch Belisle - Belisle was drafted in 2007 by the now defunct Los Angeles Riptide in the second round. He would spend most of his career with Boston as his first season as a Cannon was in 2009. Belisle is in the top ten all time for ground balls in a Cannons uniform at 175.
