Farley and Lynch Hired as Assistant Coaches at Holy Cross

Interim head lacrosse coach Peter Burke has named two new assistants to his staff at Holy Cross for the 2019 season. Ian Farley and Shayne Lynch will join Burke's staff at Holy Cross as assistant coaches in 2019.

Ian Farley will take over the Crusaders offense in 2019. Farley comes to Sacred Heart where he was a volunteer assistant. Farley was an assistant coach at Marist in 2017 and started his coaching career as an assistant at DIII John Carroll in 2016 where he helped lead them to a NCAA tournament appearance. Farley played at Sacred Heart where he graduated in 2015. 

Holy Crosse head coach Peter Burke said, "I am very excited for Coach Farley to be joining the Holy Cross men's lacrosse program. With his experience and knowledge, Coach Farley will do a great job leading our team as the offensive coordinator, and he will bring great energy and enthusiasm that fits great with our team culture and vision for the future."  

On the defensive side Shayne Lynch will take over as the Crusaders defensive coordinator in 2019. Lynch comes to Holy Cross after coaching the last four seasons at the Naval Academy Prepatory School (NAPS). Lynch also coached at Washington College and 3D lacrosse New England. Lynch played at Wesley College where he graduated in 2011.
