Ed Comeau Will be GM of Canada National Team in WILC 2019

The Canadian Lacrosse Association (CLA) has announced that Ed Comeau will be the GM of the Canadian Nation Box team at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships (WILC) in 2019 in British Columbia. 

Comeau has been involved with the Canadian National box team since it's inception in 2002. He served as an assistant coach with the team during the 2003 and 2007 world championships. Comeau made the jump to head coach in 2011. Comeau also was the head coach in 2015 as well. He was behind the bench for all four Heritage Cup games as an assistant coach in 2002 and 2004, and head coach in 2013 and 2017. Comeau has also been a coach and a GM in the NLL as well. 

In his new position as General Manager of the indoor national team Comeau will be involved with the selection of the coaching and support staff, establishing team tryouts and training schedules, as well as the evaluation and selection of players.

The 2019 WILC will take place in Lagnley, British Columbia from September 19th-28th, 2019. Canada will be looking for their fifth straight gold medal in 2019.
