The second game in the Blue Pool took place today as Australia would devour Scotland with their offense to earn an 18-6 win.

Australia would control the possession time in the first quarter as they got out to a 3-1 lead. Chris Robertson would have two goals, including the first of the game, and Luke Kessing would have the other for the Aussies in the first. Scotland would finally get a goal in the last few seconds of the quarter as Sage Ryan put it in the back of the cage. Australia really did control possession and didn't seemed phased at all by Scotland's defense. That lack of touches really hurt Scotland in the first as they had very limited opportunities.

Luke Kessing started things off in the second as he notched a hat trick and put Australia up 4-1. Scotland would come storming back as they put a lot of pressure on offensively and defensively. Luke Laskiewicz and Sean Darroch would score for Scotland to cut the Aussie lead to 4-3. Australia looked to be playing a little slower then usual during the beginning of the quarter. Toward the end Australia started to heat up again as they would go on a three goal run to end the half. Matthew Fuss, Nigel Morton, and Mitchell Kennedy all score to help Australia to a 7-3 lead at the half.

The third quarter would see a takeover from Australia. The Aussies would come out firing on all cylinders as they started they would go on a four goal run. Graham Thomas, William Pickett, Nigel Morton, and Matt Fuss would all contribute to that great run. Scotland would look like they may come to back to life as James McBride would finally break that scoring drought. Unfortunately Scotland wouldn't be able to break out on that one goal. Australia would get possession yet again and Isaac Cahill would score to put Australia up 12-4 at the end of the third. The Aussies were attacking on offense and that really disrupted the Scotland defense as they looked very out of sync.

The Australians domination would continue in the fourth quarter as well. That offense was working together once again as we saw a whole host of guys get goals, including Nigel Morton who would earn a hat trick. Scotland would get two goals by the way of Colin Vyeki and Ryan Sage. That just wouldn't be enough for Scotland as Australia would walk away with an 18-6 win.
