The biggest story of the college lacrosse offseason has finally come to a conclusion. The TD Ierlan saga is finally over as Ty Xanders reported that the star studded faceoff man will be heading to Yale.

TD Ierlan has been on of the most dominate faceoff men in the college game over the past few years. He helped lead the Albany Great Danes to an NCAA Semi-final run this past season. The Danes ultimately fell to the eventual national champions, Yale.

The announcement that TD was going to transfer from Albany came out just a few weeks ago and many thought Cornell or Syracuse would be his destination. That was until a report earlier this week that TD was looking at Yale and they were one of the final two schools along with Cornell.

This is a huge get for Andy Shay and the Yale Bulldogs. Yale does lose some talent with guys like Ben Reeves graduating. TD can't make up all their losses but he will help them a ton. TD went 79% at the faceoff dot last year which is the best in NCAA history for a singe season.

Yale brings in Under Armour All-American faceoff man Joe Neuman out of Salisbury,CT. That combination of Ierlan and Neuman will be terrifying for opposing teams. I think it is safe to say that Yale could possibly go 80-90 percent at the faceoff dot next season.

We have seen some jokes and such on social media about TD being the Kevin Durant of College Lacrosse. That has stuff has been funny to see and follow but we all know that it's all fun and games. Also, in my opinion TD is more likable than KD. Also ring chasing is more acceptable in college.
