Lax Sports Network (LSN) and ESPN have announced an exclusive multi-year content development deal. This deal includes bringing MLL games and original content to ESPN +, ESPN's new subscription platform.

This is a huge deal for LSN, ESPN and the MLL. This partnership allows the MLL and the game of lacrosse in general to be displayed on a broader scale as well as LSN.

As part of this deal there will be a MLL game of the week produced by LSN and broadcast through ESPN +. In addition the MLL All-Star game will be broadcast on ESPN 2 or ESPNEWS and the MLL Championship game will be broadcast on ESPNEWS.

As far as original content goes LSN will produce a new show called "Lacrosse America". This will be a weekly show that will premiere on July 6th and have eight editions in 2018. There will also be thirty five editions in 2019 from February to August.

Rob Wallace, COO of Lax Sports Network said in a press release " This is an important milestone for Lax Sports Network in a collective effort to reach the passionate lacrosse enthusiast and the general sports fan. A content development collaboration with ESPN provides yet another important distribution channel for Lax Sports Network to deliver the most entertaining and complete lacrosse originals wherever fans choose to consume their digital menu.”
