MLL Weekend Preview: Week 4

Week 3 was another great week in the MLL as we saw some great games in action. Some notes from week 3 were that the Hounds are still undefeated as they sit a top the league at 4-0. Also, we had some more controversial calls and this time it included New York goalie Drew Adams as he slashed an Outlaws player. This sparked a debate on wether this should be that big of  deal because defenseman do it every game and never get called, but when a goalie does it it spurs an argument on and off the field.

And We Have a Trade

The Denver Outlaws and Boston Cannons were subject of a pretty significant trade his week. The Boston Cannons traded attackman Kylor Bellestri to Denver for LSM Larken Kemp and a 2019 3rd round draft pick.

Boston Receives: LSM Larken Kemp & 3rd round 2019 draft pick

Denver Receives: Attackman Kylor Bellestri

Who won the trade???

I personally think that there was no winner here. Denver doesn't really need an attackman at the moment and I can't really see where Larken Kemp will fit in Boston. Nonetheless, these guys are professionals and will find a way to make an impact in their new homes.

Thursday, May 10th

Florida Launch (2-1) vs Boston Cannons (0-3)

The Cannons will be searching for their first win of the season in Boca Raton on Thursday. Florida has been playing a lot better than Boston and they look to be the favorite here. Boston is entering their first game without Kylor Bellestri and their first game with Larken Kemp. That will be interesting to see how he fits into their system. This game will be a good one as usual, but can Boston finally get a win or will Florida Launch the Cannons back to Boston. (pun intended)

Saturday, May 12th

Boston Cannons (0-3) vs Atlanta Blaze (2-1)

Boston will be playing their second game in one weekend so that can make for some tired legs. Atlanta will be fresh though and that can give them an up in a very slim way. This is a rematch from a few weeks ago where Atlanta really dominated. I know for sure that Boston doesn't want that to happen again. Atlanta is very hot right now with that great offense and I really feel they can get this win pretty easily, even though this game is in Boston.

Ohio Machine (1-1) vs Dallas Rattlers (3-1)

This will be a great game as both teams have been two of the best teams early in the season. I can't wait to see how this game plays out. I really do feel that this will be a tight game that anyone can win. This could be the best game of the week.

Sunday, May 13th

Denver Outlaws (1-3) vs Chesapeake Bayhawks (1-2)

This is another game between two teams that have been pretty good thus far in the season. This game will be a great offensive show as well as the defensive side of the ball. This will be another one of those great early season games.
