KY High School Rankings: Week 3

Another great week of High School Lacrosse in the Bluegrass has come and gone.
In week 3 we saw a ton of action that included stellar performances and plenty of inter-state competition. It really was a great week and I can't wait for what is in store for week 4!

1. Trinity (4-1)

The Rocks had two games this week and were able to win both of them. They played South Oldham on Tuesday and won 17-4. They capped off the week on Saturday as they took on Hamilton Southeastern (IN) and got a 12-6 win. The Rocks are looking really good heading into week 4 where they will play Male on Wednesday, travel to Loveland (OH) on Friday, and play Moeller (OH) at home on Saturday. The Rocks have a full week, but they should be able to get through with some good wins.

2. St. Xavier (4-1)

The Tigers continued their winning ways this week as they beat Henry Clay and Carmel (IN). On Wednesday St.X traveled to Lexington to take on Henry Clay in a game they won 8-4. St.X finished off the week with a trip to Indiana to take on Carmel, who is usually a tough opponent. The Tigers got business done and beat Carmel 18-6. Two big wins for the Tigers this past week. St.X will have games against Christian Academy (LOU) and Cathedral (IN) this week. Those should be some pretty good games, especially Cathedral.

3. Lexington Catholic (6-1)

The Knights got a win over Lexington Christian and and Hamilton Southeastern (IN) this week. They also, took their first loss against a very tough Archbishop Moeller (OH) team. This week they will take on two Ohio teams. On Tuesday they will take on Loveland and then on Sunday they will take on Summit CDS.

4. Henry Clay (5-1)

The Blue Devils had a pretty good week as they a dominating 20-1 victory over Lafayette. Henry Clay took their first loss on Wednesday to St. Xavier. The final was 8-4 and I was surprised that they were able to hold St.X to 8 goals. This is a great sign for the Blue Devils going forward. They will face Madison County LC, Archbishop McNicholas (OH), Hampton (PA), and Seneca Valley (PA) this week. So, a full schedule this week for Henry Clay.

5. Eastern (4-0)

The Eagles continue to stay undefeated through three weeks. They dominated Manual as they won that game 10-3. Also, the Eagles defeated Brownsburg (IN) 8-3. Eastern will face North Oldham, Elder (OH), and Dixie Heights this week, all those games will be on the road.

6. Collegiate (1-1)

7. Male (4-2)

8. Christian Academy (3-2)

9. Northern KY LC (3-0)
