Tuesday Notebook

There were some very interesting games that were played on Tuesday night. There was an OT game and multiple blowouts. Let's go over all the games that were.

Army vs NJIT

Army Continued their winning ways as they were able to beat NJIT by a score of 14-5. Army really showed off their defense and batted away the NJIT offense any chance they could. NJIT looked good on D in the first half and when they weren't pressured to the max they could actually move the ball and get good looks and shots off.

Georgetown vs High Point

Georgetown showed that the Hoyas are ready to be respected again. They were able to handle High Point and get a win 15-5. High Point is still searching for how they can gel through the whole game.

Michigan vs Bellarmine

Michigan was maybe a little too hyped off that big Cleveland State win as they let up a 7-2 lead. Bellarmine needs to be credited though because they did not fold at all. Even though they ended up losing they really did improve. Michigan got the W 9-7.

Colgate vs Binghamton

Colgate rolled over the Bearcats. Binghamton could not get anything going for more than a few possessions. They were just flat. Colgate took full advantage and shoved it down their throats. Colgate got the win 21-7.

UMass vs Sacred Heart

This was a very tight and close game. Sacred Heart has really improved since last season. UMass was able to bounce back from that huge loss against Army over the weekend and defend Garber field. UMass ended up with a 13-9 win today.

Maryland vs Marist

The Attacking Champions get their second win as they beat Marist 13-7. Marist is a good team but they didn't have the upset in them today.

Cleveland State vs Mercer

I said this would be the best game of the day and it was. Mercer won 10-9 in overtime. Both young teams and really matched up equally today.
