Tanner's Top 25

   The Rankings haven't changed that much as there wasn't really any upsets this weekend but It's still interesting to see what Tanner's rankings are each week.


25.  Jacksonville (1-1)

    The Dolphins lost to Duke but played pretty well considering the talent they were up against.


24.  Bucknell (2-0)

    The Bison put up another great offensive performance against Bryant in a game that was a shootout.


23. Harvard

    The Crimsons open the season against UMass Lowell on Saturday.

22. Brown

      The Bears open their season against Quinnipiac on Saturday.


21.  Vermont (3-0)

    A dominant win over Fairfield this weekend showed the Catamounts dominance.


20. Providence (2-0)
   
    The Friars bat Holy Cross to get their 2nd win of the season


19. Marquette

   The Golden Eagles open their season against Jacksonville this weekend.


18. Towson (0-1)

    The Tigers got murdered by Hopkins in their season opener but they showed signs of light.


17. Penn

    The Quakers open the season against Michigan this weekend.


16. Rutgers (2-0)

     Still not performing up to par in the 1st half the Scarlet Knights survived St. Johns.


15. North Carolina (1-0)

    UNC barley survived a big upset loss against Furman. They had to get the W in OT at home.


14. Villanova (1-0)

    The Wildcats have a big game against Yale in the Patriot Cup on Saturday in Texas.


13. Army (1-0)

   The Black Knights really played well as they tore UMass to shreds in their season opener.


12.  Penn State (2-0)
 
     Still figuring out how to play without Grant Ament the Nittany Lions got a 15-8 win over Hobart.


11.  Loyola (0-1)

     The Greyhounds fell to UVA in 2 OT but they still played very well and looked like ready to take the Patriot League already.


10.  Virginia (1-0)
   
      The Wahoos had a huge comeback as they beat Loyola in double OT.


9. Ohio State (2-0)

   The Buckeyes really took it to Boston U in a very dominant win.


8. Johns Hopkins (1-0)

   The Blue Jays took it to Towson in their season opener on ESPNU.  #TinneyForTewaaraton


7. Syracuse (1-0)

   A very very dominant 21-4 win over Binghamton on Saturday let people know that Cuse is for real.


6. Yale

   The Bulldogs haven't gotten to play a game yet but they play Villanova in the Patriot Cup in Texas this weekend as their season opener.


5. Denver (1-0)

   The Pioneers were able to get a win over Air Force in a very very snowy game.


4. Maryland (1-0)

   The Terps took it to instate rival Navy on Saturday and that was a great start to the season.


3. Notre Dame (1-0)

   The Fighting Irish won their first game of the season at home against Detroit Mercy.


2. Albany 

   The Great Danes start off play this week with a game against Syracuse on Saturday and that should be a great one.


1.  Duke (3-0)

    The Blue Devils beat up on High Point and Jacksonville this week. Justin Guterding also put on another display.
