  Joel Tinney has broken wrist!!!

Inside lacrosse reported earlier this week that there has been some bad news out of Baltimore. Johns Hopkins star Midfielder Joel Tinney has suffered a broken wrist. Joel was the star of the team last season and he also made #SCTop10 plays a few times with those fake flips. Tinney is expected to not miss any playing time due to the timing of the injury. Broken bones usually heal pretty well so I am confident that we will get to see the Joel Tinney show come February!

UConn Adding Mens Lacrosse?
A big UConn donor interrupted his speech earlier this week to tell the school's AD that they need to get a few million dollars and add a Men's Lacrosse Program.
I personally love this idea because of two reasons. 1. UConn would help with the collagiate growth of the game and they could be in the Big East or ACC. 2. I've always liked UConn because I had a family member graduate from there so yeah. Go Huskies!
However, I do not think that this will happen quicker than we wan it to. We saw big boosters in the past start programs like Utah on private funds alone but still that took a year. I think UConn is a great prospect to add Lacrosse but there are some other areas that UConn's AD needs to focus on more now. Which includes brining both Football and Basketball back to the glory days!

The Chesapeake Bayhawks announced Wednesday morning that Dave Cottle will be back on the sidelines running things this upcoming season. Dave Cottle is obviously a Hall of Fame coach and great lacrosse mind. He has been involved with the Bayhawks for a while and he has been in a front office role since he stopped coaching. Cottle also coached at Maryland and was fired after taking them to a final four. I am very excited to see Dave Cottle back on the sideline this upcoming season.
